Ariel or Mom?

Me: Olivia, who is this?

Olivia: That’s Mom!

Me: Yeah it is. Remember that time I brushed my hair with a fork, didn’t know the word for feet and Ursula stole my voice?

Olivia: No

No Panda Left Behind

Heath sent me a text at work to let me know that Pandi was missing at the mall. While we have five Pandi understudies ready to step up and assume the great responsibility of being Olivia’s number one Pandi, if ever the need should arise, I wasn’t ready to say goodbye to the OG. On my lunch break I frantically drove to the mall across town (Cruella de Ville style, but safer) to find her. When I got their I picked up a French bulldog stuffed toy on the off chance Pandi had been taken and I needed to initiate a trade in order to secure her release.

The decoy toy (so soft!)

I searched high and low for that black and white bear who ran interference for me at Michaels when Olivia wanted to grab everything – she had my back, just like Big Mike in the The Blindside starring Sandra Bullock. I picked her up off the shelf, handed her to Olivia and they have been inseparable ever since.

When I thought that all hope was lost, I found her! No ransom was paid. But I did give the decoy stuffed dog to a little girl, with her grandpa’s permission (we do not need anymore toys in our house!). I am so glad to have Pandi back! 👍🙂🐼

Stay great!

This little sponge studied this book for weeks… note the strawberries on the right page.

Look at her go, translating her studies into practice: this hungry little caterpillar is taking one bite out of many strawberries (yes, one). Isn’t she wasteful?

Ps. No children were harmed in the taking of this photo.
